How the integration of REWOTEC Engineering GmbH strengthens the service network of the L.I.T. Group
Together with his team, Frank Deiters (center), Managing Director of REWOTEC Engineering GmbH, ensures flawless products and smooth processes.
Anyone entering the halls in Emden's industrial area immediately feels it: here, things are not just checked, they are shaped. Forklifts drive by, employees inspect components, measuring devices are running. In the midst of the operations stands Frank Deiters, founder and Managing Director of REWOTEC Engineering GmbH. Since 2024, his company has been part of the L.I.T. Group. This merger creates a service network that closely interlinks transport, warehousing, and quality assurance.
"We do not understand quality as a final inspection, but as a continuous process," says Frank Deiters. "When we sort parts, evaluate data, or adapt processes, it is never just about finding errors. It is about creating structures that permanently secure quality." REWOTEC Engineering GmbH is present with locations in Germany and Europe, from Emden to Wolfsburg and into the Czech Republic. Proximity to the plants is part of the concept. "Our customers want answers within hours, not days. That is why we have built decentralized structures and qualified personnel directly on site," explains Deiters.
The range of services extends from sorting and rework to resident engineering, process optimization, and ramp-up management. A special feature is the self-developed quality management system (QMS) "QUEST," which records all data relevant to proper order processing, from quality data, working hours, and personnel administration to graphical evaluations, making trends visible. "Only those who can measure their quality can also control it. QUEST provides us with exactly the information we need to react precisely and quickly."
The teams are trained and certified according to international standards. Methods such as APQP, PPAP, 8D, and FMEA are part of everyday work. Frank Deiters emphasizes that standards are not just formally met but practically lived. "Our employees must not only know what is in a standard but understand why it is important. Only then does real added value emerge."

The integration of REWOTEC Engineering GmbH is a logical step for the L.I.T. Group to expand its service portfolio.

Proximity to the customer and a high degree of responsibility and precision are the success factors of Emden's quality experts.
The Emden experts also focus on efficiency in administrative processes. AI systems support reporting, deployment planning, and communication. For Frank Deiters, this is not an end in itself: "For us, digitalization does not mean replacing people. It helps us to find relevant information faster. This gives us time for what is essential: working on quality." It is striking how closely management and staff work together. Training courses, workshops, and feedback rounds are an integral part of daily work. "We focus on continuous development, not one-off training. Those who are to take on responsibility need knowledge, but also the freedom to contribute their own ideas," says Deiters.
Added value for the L.I.T. Group
The integration into the L.I.T. Group creates new synergies. The Group is strong not only in transport and freight forwarding but also in Value Added Services that directly link to customers' production processes. These include assembly and manufacturing work, which place particularly high demands on precision and reliability. This is precisely where REWOTEC Engineering GmbH contributes its quality expertise. "Logistics and quality are two sides of the same coin. If a part is not processed on time, with the wrong quality, or not flawlessly during assembly, production comes to a standstill. In conjunction with the L.I.T. Group, we can secure the entire chain β from transport and production-related services to quality assurance," summarizes Deiters.
The network character within the Group reinforces this effect. Know-how, personnel, and systems interlock, so customers benefit from close integration. Especially in production-related activities such as assembly or ramp-up management, it becomes clear how the interaction of L.I.T. and REWOTEC Engineering GmbH can make a difference.
Despite the growth, Frank Deiters sticks to his principles. "We do not grow at any cost. It is crucial that we maintain our values: precision, reliability, and customer proximity." While work in the halls continues uninterrupted in the background, Deiters makes it clear what drives him: "Quality is not a state that is achieved once. It is a path that is walked day after day. And this is exactly the path we are taking: now together with the L.I.T. Group."
