As an internationally operating logistics service provider, we bear great responsibility towards society, as well as our partners, customers, and employees. Therefore, we have formulated values and behavioral guidelines that determine our daily actions.
Green Logistics – Our Responsibility
Our measures regarding alternative drives, fleet development, and infrastructure are part of an overarching environmental management approach of the L.I.T. Gruppe. The core companies are ISO 14001 certified and have set clear emission targets in accordance with EU requirements.
The goal is to reduce the group's emissions by 55% by 2030 compared to the base year 2019 and to achieve a complete emission reduction (100%) by 2045. To this end, we are focusing on expanding alternative drive types, transforming truck and car fleets, expanding intermodal transport, and implementing measures for sustainable employee mobility.
Furthermore, since 2014, we have maintained our own traditional orchard in Brake, together with the children's and youth group of NABU Wesermarsch – approximately 1.4 hectares with 30 fruit trees, which promotes regional biodiversity.
