TWO COLLEAGUES HONORED BY IHK OLDENBURG FOR MANY YEARS OF EXAMINATION WORK
EXCELLENT TRAINING FOR SKILLED WORKERSTWO COLLEAGUES HONORED BY IHK OLDENBURG FOR MANY YEARS OF EXAMINATION WORK
Without the tireless commitment of the IHK examiners, the training system in Germany would not function. Our two colleagues Robert Hennemann (left in the picture), Head of Driving Personnel Management, and Carsten Harms, who supervises our prospective professional drivers, are well aware of this. Both have therefore been voluntarily involved for many years as examiners at the IHK Oldenburg, passing on their knowledge to the next generation and thus paving the way for young professionals into working life.
For their commitment, both were honored by the IHK Oldenburg in November 2019. Harms has been a member of the examination committee for professional drivers for ten years, while Hennemann has been examining prospective commercial employees for freight forwarding and logistics services for eleven years. For their many years of dedication, both received a certificate at the traditional examiners' evening, which was attended by around 800 guests in the Weser-Ems-Halle Oldenburg.
CONTACT PERSONS DIRECTLY ON SITE
Our apprentices also benefit from the extensive experience of both colleagues in the examination committee. With Harms and Hennemann, the ideal contact persons are directly on site during preparation – not only professionally, but also when it comes to reducing nervousness.
Currently, a total of 2,320 examiners are voluntarily involved with the IHK Oldenburg. All of them work full-time in companies or vocational schools in the region and also invest time, experience, and expertise in the training of young professionals.
